Why not hire two of our rehearsal studios, by the day, for your own recording set up?

Of the 5 rehearsal studios that we have, 2 of them are linked by a multicore snake connection and are therefore a great option to hire for a recording session. They can be hired by the hour, day, week or even month, for you to bring your own recording equipment into and record a band.

Our Studio 2 has been specifically set up to create a great sound for recording in. The ceilings are a bit higher than most rooms, there is extensive rockwool in the ceiling to take most of the reverb out of the room for a neutral recording sound, but there is also a bit of life in it from the exposed walls. However, many other people don't realize that it is also connected to Studio 5 by a 32 way multi-core snake connection, with 24 sends and 8 returns. This means that microphones can be connected into this box that is in Studio 2.......

...and the signals can then be received in Studio 5, allowing Studio to be used as a recording control room. By setting up your mixing desk in Studio 5, you can therefore hear the sound that the microphones are picking up in Studio 2 in isolation, distinguishing the sound that is being recorded by the microphones from the sound within the room, which is vital to not only make sure that the signal is being picked up by the microphones well, with the correct gain management and tone, but it will also ensure that the sound engineer does not suffer the ear fatigue that can hinder the recording session. Studio 5 is usually set up as a rehearsal studio, but it also has the most extensive of all of the acoustic treatments of all of our studios, meaning it's also a great place to monitor the sound of the recording, since it is the studio that has the least reverb and 'life' in it, perfect to get a neutral monitor of the sounds that you're recording.

Off Peak - Monday to Friday, 10am - 6pm.

Any 4 hours = £62 for both studios. (A 23.5% discount on the combined price of both studios).
Any 6 hours = £89 for both studios. (A 24.1% discount on the combined price of both studios).

Any 8 hours = £120 for both studios. (A 25% discount on the combined price of both studios).

Peak - Monday to Friday, 6pm - 11pm.

Any 4 hours = £79 for both studios. (A 16% discount on the combined price of both studios).
Any 6 hours = £89 for both studios. (A 19% discount on the combined price of both studios).

Weekends, all day long during standard opening times. (Saturday 10am - 7pm, Sunday 10am - 11pm)

Any 4 hours = £75 for both studios. (A 20% discount on the combined price of both studios).
Any 6 hours = £110 for both studios. (A 22% discount on the combined price of both studios).

Any 8 hours = £140 for both studios. (A 25% discount on the combined price of both studios).

Any 10 hours = £170 for both studios. (A 27% discount on the combined price of both studios).

Any 12 hours = £190 for both studios. (A 31% discount on the combined price of both studios).
